How PhotoCubics came to be (cont)

Time is money, for the photographer and for the client.
There had to be a better way besides spending an hour or more for a single pro image of an engagement ring, and several hours for an intricate necklace.
From this determination began the journey of reinventing product and jewelry photography.

The first thing to accept is that the traditional rules had to be discarded, which in turn meant inventing new rules.

That said, some things never change: Light. Photography is two words; Photo, meaning light, and graph, meaning draw or render. The camera and lens are nothing more than devices used to record how we draw/render with light. Light is Everything.

We tested every kind of light and narrowed it down, the light must be Flash. That complicated things because Flash is known to be strictly professional, only trained pros know how to use it correctly, but we decided this "New Way" will be for anyone and everyone who wants to do their own professional product and jewelry photography, and it has to be really easy and very fast. The short version of the story is that FlashBox came to be and with it a new company to produce and market it: PhotoCubics Inc.

Now anyone can take DIY professional photos of jewelry and product in on average three minutes.
